DNA Profile Relationship Matching

·	Other Details: This test is used to match a relationship between ‘special specimens’ and specimens on a swab. Special specimens include hair roots, cigarette butts, biological stains, licked envelopes, chewed gum, toothbrushes, etc.

3 Steps to DNA Profile Matching and Biological Stain Analysis

1.Request the free GeneSwab Specimen Collection Kit for Forensic DNA Testing to be sent to your home or business (sent via First Class Mail) by calling toll free (888) 404-GENE or using the online ordering form.

2. Follow the easy instructions to collect the cheek cell specimens from the individuals to be included in the analysis using the swabs provided in the kit. Place the special specimens (e.g., hair, semen stain, or blood stain) into an envelope or plastic bag. If the special specimen is moist do not place into a plastic bag until the item has completely dried. NOTE: Results obtained from specimens collected at home are not strongly supported in a court of law. 3. Send payment and the samples to be analyzed to GeneTree. Results usually take between two and six weeks (depending on the procedure), and will be provided by email, telephone, mail and/or facsimile.
